Jordan, The top page has the best results, I think. Sometimes, the success of this exercise is based off the choice of material. While medium shots and close-ups can work, full shots are better - but I like that you have been focusing on the hands, nonetheless. I would like to have see more with the conductor on the bottom page, especially from different angles (if shown) or show the upper body turning a little. Even though you're watching video, try to look for more interesting poses where the body like the poses on that top page. They have good silhouette, foreshortening and overlapping form.
I'm jealous, I wanted to use Seal haha. Awesome job! You can really see a difference of genre just through each of the performer's movement.
