In this blog, I will be creating multiple quick sketches of the human body, anatomy, costumes, etc. The class that this is for is called Cafe Sketch at the Columbus College of Art and Design; feel free to browse and comment at your leisure!

In class #4
We took the time today to sit down in a class and draw our teacher and classmates within different drawing situations and characters; this was alot of fun with the use of absurd props!
Jordan, Overall, pretty strong interpretations of our first studio class. I like that you aren't afraid to dive into the creative part of these classes and come up with your own characters. Please keep this up. The proportions are good and the overall form is solid - I would like to see you loosen up the overall gesture a little more and (time permitting) develop more line weight variety.
These are really great. I admire how you can not only get the pose, the gesture and the movement, but how you get the clothes, and those little details that really add. Awesome awesome.
The poses are solid and the anatomy is spot on. Keep it up ! I am anxious to see more from you as the year goes on. I especially like the top right vampire pose, I can really feel the weight shift.
Really great sketches here.. I am sad I missed that class... looked fun! I think that maybe you should make the sketches less-rendered, and more (can't think of the word) fluid??
